Compensation: USD $140,000–$180,000 plus performance incentives

This role is designed for an experienced project leader who wants to see their work shape large-scale infrastructure from early design through final delivery. You will oversee complex pilot programs and full-scale systems that sit at the intersection of advanced materials, engineering execution, and real-world water treatment needs.

Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of pilot and project plants, working closely with engineering, installation, and commissioning teams. This role oversees projects from internal handover through final delivery to the customer, ensuring timelines, budgets, technical standards, and contractual obligations are met.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director for the Americas, this position plays a central role in ensuring consistent execution and positive client outcomes across multiple projects.


Key Responsibilities

Project Ownership

  • Manage pilot and full-scale projects from planning through completion.
  • Deliver project milestones within agreed timelines and financial parameters.
  • Oversee documentation, approvals, and contractual deliverables through warranty activation.
  • Lead regular project reviews covering cost, schedule, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Client-Facing Leadership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer representatives.
  • Lead all project-related meetings, communications, and formal correspondence.
  • Manage scope adjustments and commercial variations in coordination with internal teams.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records for all project documentation.

Internal Coordination

  • Act as the central coordination point across engineering, installation, commissioning, production, logistics, and finance.
  • Allocate and track resources including materials, manpower, and scheduling.
  • Report performance concerns or warranty matters to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement through documented best practices and lessons learned.

Operational Contribution

  • Participate actively in technical discussions related to system design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Promote clear written and verbal communication across all stakeholders.
  • Uphold safety, quality, and operational standards throughout project execution.
  • Contribute ideas and insights that strengthen project delivery and operational effectiveness.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience in mechanical engineering, automation, or a related technical field.
  • Ten or more years of experience in project or operations management.
  • Background in water treatment or industrial process environments preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of P&IDs, equipment selection, calculations, and instrumentation.
  • Hands-on experience with site installation and commissioning activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, or similar project management tools.
  • Proven ability to work directly with customers using a solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience coordinating logistics, materials, and cross-functional resources.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: USD $140,000–$180,000
  • Performance Incentives:
  • Up to 10 percent of base salary tied to commercial support objectives
  • Up to an additional 10 percent tied to project delivery objectives
  • Paid Time Off: 15 days annually plus federal holidays
