Fabrication Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Engineer to join our team. As a Fabrication Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the transfer of technical drawings and support documents from our manufacturing Principals to our US-based fabricators.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the transfer of Equipment Fabrication packages
• Reviewing Drawings and BOM for completeness and consistency
• Acting as a liaison between the Principal and the Fabricator
• Providing a high level of Principal/Fabricator support
• Working knowledge of equipment design
• Participating in the creation and maintenance of the drawing filing system
• Resolution of drawing unit and translation discrepancies
• Providing technical direction to the team
• Participating in the training of new team members

Qualifications include:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is ideal, but will consider years of experience + education
• 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Troubleshoot and advise customers by phone
• Willingness to travel as required
