Compensation

$80,000 to $95,000 base salary plus 15%+ annual performance bonus and comprehensive benefits, including retirement plan with employer contribution.

Position Overview

The Field Engineer supports aftermarket growth by assessing installed equipment, identifying performance improvements, and recommending parts, upgrades, and service solutions. This role combines hands-on inspection, technical analysis, and consultative support to help customers optimize operations and plan future improvements.

You will conduct site visits, troubleshoot equipment, document findings, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations. Working closely with internal engineering and regional partners, you will translate field observations into technically sound and commercially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate operating equipment at municipal and industrial facilities to identify opportunities for upgrades, retrofits, and service support.
• Perform on-site inspections and technical assessments of mechanical systems, including clarifier and related process equipment.
• Collect field measurements, photographs, and operational data to support solution development and proposal accuracy.
• Prepare clear inspection reports and recommendations within established turnaround expectations.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and support proposal development and follow-up.
• Collaborate with engineering and regional partners to convert field findings into practical solution packages.
• Provide responsive technical guidance and support implementation planning to improve field success.
• Support customer capability through technical guidance and training.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.

Experience

• 2 to 4 years in a field-based technical role such as field service, applications engineering, technical sales, industrial maintenance, or construction systems.
• Experience with municipal water, wastewater, or industrial process equipment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with capital equipment, aftermarket parts, retrofits, or system upgrades is advantageous.
