Technical Sales Manager – Water & Wastewater

Base Salary: USD $76,500–$121,000 + performance bonus

What You Will Do
Technical Sales Support
- Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers and internal commercial teams.
- Provide expertise on advanced ceramic membrane filtration systems, including submerged ultrafiltration and membrane bioreactor applications.
- Support proposal development through system concepts, technical evaluations, and presentations.
- Communicate both technical value and business impact in a clear, practical manner.
Sales and Engineering Collaboration
- Convert customer requirements into effective and scalable system concepts.
- Partner with engineering, product, and commercial colleagues to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Support pilot programs and full-scale systems from initial setup through commissioning and closeout.
Field and Project Involvement
- Participate in site visits, pilot testing, inspections, and performance reviews.
- Assist with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and optimization, both on site and remotely.
- Provide support for ongoing operation and servicing when required.
Training and Documentation
- Deliver training for customers and internal teams on system use, maintenance, and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including reports and design guidelines.
- Ensure smooth transitions from technical development to execution teams.
Industry and Team Collaboration
- Work with international teams to align standards and technical direction.
- Stay informed on developments in membrane technology and the broader water treatment market.
- Contribute to a cooperative, solution-focused working environment.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ or more years of experience in water or wastewater treatment.
- Hands-on experience with membrane-based systems, particularly MBR technologies, is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of system design, process optimization, hydraulics, piping, and water chemistry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Comfort working with cross-functional and international teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings and project support.
Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: USD $80,000–$110,000

Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary
