You will work directly with decision-makers, engineers, and operators to guide projects from early conversations through pilot testing and commercial deployment. Position Overview

The Regional Sales Manager plays a key role in expanding market presence across assigned U.S. territories. This individual serves as both a commercial lead and a technical resource for municipal and industrial customers, working closely with engineering, operations, and global sales colleagues.

Reporting directly to senior regional leadership, this role requires independence, strong technical credibility, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

Market Development and Sales Leadership

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across municipal and industrial sectors.
  • Execute regional market strategies in alignment with broader organizational objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with utilities, consulting engineers, system integrators, and end users.
  • Develop and manage distributor and channel partner relationships.

Technical Sales Support

  • Lead customer meetings, presentations, and site visits to present filtration solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical support throughout the sales process, including water quality assessments and pilot activities.
  • Support small-scale testing using mobile pilot systems and assist with pilot plant installation and operation.
  • Coordinate closely with internal technical teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to execution.

Customer and Partner Relationships

  • Establish long-term partnerships through consistent communication, follow-through, and service.
  • Act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor to customers.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and technical authority in all interactions.

Internal Collaboration and Market Insight

  • Work closely with international sales, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform strategy.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reporting.

Work Structure

  • Home-based role with responsibility for managing an assigned U.S. territory.
  • Travel of up to 50 percent for customer meetings, site visits, events, and pilot support.
  • High level of independence with direct access to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Ten or more years of experience in water or wastewater product sales.
  • Five or more years working with membrane-based filtration technologies, preferably MF or UF systems.
  • Strong background in technical or solution-based selling with a history of closing complex deals.
  • Established network within the water and wastewater sector.
  • Experience working with channel partners or distributors.
  • Technical understanding of treatment processes, plant design, hydraulics, and basic water chemistry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment.
  • High professional standards and a customer-focused mindset.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: USD $125,000–$150,000
  • Incentive Compensation: Variable bonus tied to sales objectives
