Business Development Manager, Municipal Utility Infrastructure

What You Will Own
This position carries responsibility for expanding utility services tied to municipal utility district developments throughout Texas. You will be accountable for originating opportunities, guiding projects through long sales cycles, and maintaining trusted relationships across public and private stakeholders.
Key areas of focus include:
• Developing and closing new business within water and wastewater infrastructure tied to MUDD projects
• Building durable relationships with developers, engineers, municipal leaders, and utility districts
• Participating in development reviews, planning discussions, and project strategy sessions
• Serving as a bridge between external partners and internal operational teams
• Providing market insight and regulatory awareness to guide business decisions
• Staying current on Texas utility regulations, permitting processes, and governing frameworks
This role requires sound judgment, problem solving under ambiguity, and the ability to anticipate challenges before they surface.

Experience with CRM platforms, Texas utility agencies, or technical disciplines such as civil engineering or environmental services is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
This role offers a competitive compensation structure aligned with performance and long term contribution.
• Base salary range: $112,500 to $165,000
• Total on target earnings range: $166,500 to $275,000
