Water and wastewater teams across the country continue to modernize the way they track operations, manage assets, and make decisions. This position places you at the center of that transformation. You will guide organizations through meaningful upgrades that save time, reduce risk, and improve public outcomes, all while advancing your own career in a field that continues to grow.

This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in consultative environments and enjoys building long term relationships. You will shape the experience of customers adopting a platform that supports essential public infrastructure, and you will be part of a team that values thoughtful engagement, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

You will be joining an organization that is expanding its customer base, broadening its product portfolio, and investing in scalable growth. Leadership is accessible, collaborative, and committed to equipping the sales team with the tools needed to succeed. You will work alongside product experts and operational specialists who share a genuine commitment to helping customers work smarter.

The culture prizes professionalism, humility, and accountability. The team is remote friendly and highly communicative, creating an environment where strong performers can take ownership of their work while still benefiting from the support of colleagues who want to see one another win.

What You Will Do

You will manage the full sales cycle and play a critical role in shaping the customer experience from first outreach through handoff to delivery. The work combines strategic thinking, hands on relationship management, and execution across diverse public sector environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Selling a suite of SaaS tools designed to simplify operations, manage assets, track sampling, support analytics, and serve future product lines
  • Managing sales qualified opportunities with strong CRM discipline and clear forecasting
  • Navigating various types of buying cycles including those involving procurement steps, evaluation committees, and formal requests
  • Collaborating with technical specialists and internal teams to address detailed customer needs
  • Building relationships within public sector agencies, regional associations, and channel partners
  • Participating in industry organizations to expand visibility and deepen market understanding
  • Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and regional events as a knowledgeable product advocate
  • Monitoring engagement and conversion metrics to refine outreach strategies and drive efficiency
  • Identifying and managing third party sales channels that support your segment
  • Supporting a shift toward more product led growth while still operating effectively in consultative environments

Growth Potential

As the company continues to scale, opportunities will expand to take on segment ownership, lead or mentor team members, support business development functions, contribute to product direction, or help refine sales processes across the organization. Individuals who consistently deliver significant results and demonstrate strong leadership qualities will have clear advancement pathways.

What You Bring

  • A record of success in SaaS or technology driven sales
  • Experience working with public sector buyers or multi stakeholder sales environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to guide customers through software evaluation
  • Curiosity and a desire to develop deeper knowledge of the water sector
  • Comfort with CRM tools such as HubSpot including reporting, forecasting, automation, and pipeline management
  • Intermediate Excel capabilities including pivot tables, references, and efficient data navigation
  • The ability to work effectively in a remote setting during standard United States business hours
  • Willingness to travel approximately fifteen percent for customer visits, industry events, and team meetings
  • A self starting mindset marked by humility, accountability, and consistent follow through

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary from $80,000 to $140,000 depending on experience
  • Uncapped commissions with clear accelerators for strong performance
  • On target earnings between $120,000 and $200,000+
  • A defined ramp period to support early success
  • Full medical and dental premium coverage for employees
  • 401k with company match and immediate vesting
  • Flexible remote work environment and generous PTO
  • A stable, growing organization with long term opportunities for advancement
