A well-established industrial organization is seeking a Manager of Water Purification to oversee environmental treatment operations within a large-scale manufacturing environment. This role carries full responsibility for system performance, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance across integrated treatment processes. Professional Responsibility and Scope

The Manager will direct the operation of wastewater and water treatment systems, including influent and effluent management, solids processing, and water reuse infrastructure. This includes monitoring system performance, adjusting treatment conditions, and ensuring the proper function of mechanical and process equipment across the facility.

The role requires strong involvement in process control, including managing flow rates, treatment chemistry, and biological system performance to maintain compliance with discharge requirements. The individual will lead troubleshooting efforts, oversee preventative and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners on system improvements and capital initiatives.

Regulatory oversight is a central component of the role. Responsibilities include managing sampling programs, laboratory coordination, reporting, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local environmental standards. This individual will also interact with regulatory agencies, contractors, and community stakeholders as needed.

In addition, the role includes leadership of a technical team, with responsibility for coaching, workforce planning, and performance management to ensure strong operational continuity and development of internal talent.
