What You Will Do
- Analyze project documents, specifications, and addenda for assigned divisions.
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and assemble detailed division estimates.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather critical project insights.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing, comparing against self-performance options.
- Forecast labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs with precision.
- Support bid day preparation and submissions, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and competitiveness.
- Provide seamless estimate hand-off to project management teams on awarded jobs.
- Build and maintain strong vendor/subcontractor relationships while staying attuned to industry pricing trends.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related field — or equivalent technical training/experience.
- At least two years of estimating, engineering, or construction experience related to architectural scopes (masonry, structural steel, light gauge framing, doors/windows, finishes, and more).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ProContractor, Primavera, or similar estimating software is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents with precision.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and cost-control skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in teams.
- Time-management skills to juggle multiple estimates and proposals simultaneously.

- Competitive base salary: $75,000 – $90,000, plus performance incentives.
